Ah, Opening Night! The night when it finally comes together- lights, sound, costumes, audience, all of it. The press is there. You're hoping you don't screw something up. You're hoping that all the work will pay off and the critics will rave and you'll get good houses and make some money on this one, so you can do the next one....
Such pressure... Oi.
And to relieve the pressure, what do we do? Give awesome presents!
My auntie gave me a Christmas ornament that has my name and glittered holly painted on one side and Loyal Women and blood painted on the other side. (It's funny if you've seen the show and are a little bit twisted like we are.)
Sean and Leslie, our fearless leaders, gave us baby bottles full of whiskey that read "Rathcooler." (The neighborhood the show's set in is Rathcoole.)
And my dear friend Andrew, the one who's been making the fake tatts for us, gave us all Loyal Women tattoos!
Here's me with mine. Looks real, doesn't it?
And as an added present for me, he made a tattoo for himself. I wrote about Dan's "Brenda" tattoo, right. Well, Andrew took one and crossed her name out, and put the rest of the female characters on there and crossed their names out, and... well... just look.

He says it's because it's me that he really loves... Tee hee!
(I apologize for the crappy quality of that photo. I took it with my cell phone. The ONE night I leave my camera at home. Grr!)
So, here's to anothering opening of another show! Merde, baby!
